Henry Cavill He’s Not That Unlucky!
Posted by admin on January 10, 2012 under UncategorizedEvery man has his share of success and struggles; both going in tandem with each other. But humans have had this idiosyncrasy of throwing the entire baggage on ‘luck’.
There is a famous internet humor that goes something like this, ‘I believe in luck, for how will I explain the success of those who have defeated me.’
If only luck was the deciding factor, then the labor of several great men would have gone down the drain, just like that!
Henry Cavill has at least refuted some of the charges on that front!
A reputed British magazine had labeled him as being a very unlucky actor. They had valid reasons at that point of time for taking a dig at him, with a not-so-literal dagger.
After all, he had lost out to Robert Pattinson in bagging the part of Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter franchise.
This was soon followed by losing the part of Superman to Brandon Routh, a blow coming again in the form of Edward Cullen’s part (courtesy: Twilight) - the man being Robert Pattinson again!
Going by those instances, anyone would come to the conclusion that Mr. Cavill certainly doesn’t have something called luck, by his side.
That is only partially true, for at least his small screen presence has been appreciated by one and all.
Watch The Tudors online and catch up with Henry Cavill, donning the part of Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk.
One always felt like going for a download of this historical drama and having a tryst with the ironies of the past.
As far as the bad luck of Mr. Cavill is concerned, this situation is in for a reversal for sure, since ‘Immortals’ is doing fairly well and several other promising projects are there in the pipeline too.
Henry’s fans and well-wishers can certainly look forward to Bruce Willis’ new movie, ‘The Cold Light of Day’ as well.
Director of ‘300’, Zack Snyder’s upcoming ‘Man of Steel’ is not only going to be his litmus test, but would also escalate his stature by several leaps in the world of films.
Thus, it’s not about luck all the time!
At times, it is what one may call perfect timing and Henry’s time has surely arrived!
